Shami Pizarro

Born and raised right here in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Shami Pizarro (née Gravatt) has been working in the local restaurant scene from the age of sixteen. After receiving her degree from Eastern Mennonite University, she left her hometown to live and work in New York, Charlotte and Tampa before coming back to “The Valley” to pursue a graduate degree in education at Mary Baldwin College. Besides being a full time teacher, co owner of a local food tour business, wife and mother, she also finds time to own and operate Cuban Burger with her husband Steve.
